Strategy visibility
Exactly what becomes public when you publish, what stays private, and what nobody can see either way.
Public on every listing
| Category | Items |
|---|---|
| Track record | ROI over the selected window, P&L, CAGR, win rate, profit factor, volatility, trade frequency, max drawdown, health score |
| Risk controls | Stop-loss %, take-profit, reward:risk, daily loss cap, per-trade risk |
| Instrument | Symbol, asset class, venue, timeframe |
| Classification | Strategy type, risk tier |
| Metadata you entered | Description, disclaimer, support email, support phone, minimum capital, subscription price |
| Social | Deployment count, reviews, average rating |
| Recent trades | Realised fills, side, quantity, fill price, P&L |
| Subscribers | The deployment list with allocation, P&L % and duration |
| Author | Your display name, and, if you are a Research Analyst who consented, your SEBI registration number |
The recent trades list is worth noticing before you publish: your realised fills are public.
Private on a closed listing
| Stays private |
|---|
| Your entry and exit conditions |
| Your indicator formulas |
| Your parameter values |
| Your personal account, capital and balances |
| Your other, unpublished strategies |
| Your chats and drafts |
On an Open Strategy listing, the first three become public to subscribers.. See Open vs closed listings.
Never visible to anyone
| Nobody can see |
|---|
| Your broker credentials |
| Your account balance at any venue |
| Trades you placed yourself outside the platform |
| A subscriber's account, capital, trades or P&L (publishers cannot see this either) |
| Which listings you have watchlisted |
The publisher/subscriber blindness is symmetric: a publisher cannot see a subscriber's account, and a subscriber cannot see a publisher's other strategies.
Watchlisting is private
Saving a listing to your watchlist is private. The author is not notified.
The name locks
While a strategy is listed you cannot rename it. Unpublish to rename.
Your Research Analyst registration number
If you are a verified Research Analyst, your public profile carries a consent toggle for displaying your SEBI registration number.
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Displayed | Visible on your profile and listings; users can verify it against SEBI's own records |
| Hidden | Held by the platform for verification, not shown |
Displaying it is the more transparent option and the one most users will expect. The toggle controls display only, the number is verified at review either way. See Research Analyst programme.
Pricing
A subscription price above zero is displayed on the listing as a recurring price.
There is no charging code in the platform. The value is stored, rendered, and never collected. Listings are currently free to deploy, whatever price a listing shows.
Two consequences:
Today this is a two-sided misunderstanding, a publisher may believe they are earning and a subscriber may believe they are paying. Neither is happening.
The day it is wired up, Stretus begins intermediating a fee paid for another person's securities strategy, which changes the platform's regulatory character materially. Consideration for investment advice or research is the trigger for registration requirements, so enabling paid subscriptions is a regulatory decision rather than a product one.
Do not collect payment outside the platform for a listing. Doing so takes consideration for another person's securities strategy and changes your own regulatory position. See Regulatory position.
Minimum capital
The minimum you require a subscriber to allocate. Enforced when they go live, not when they subscribe. The effective minimum is the larger of yours and the platform's US$50 floor.
Unpublishing
| Unpublishing does | Unpublishing does not |
|---|---|
| Remove the listing from the community section | Stop existing subscribers' copies |
| Stop new deployments | Recall disclosed Open Strategy logic |
| Release the name lock | Notify subscribers |
Existing copies keep running. If a strategy should no longer be traded, say so on the listing before you withdraw it. That is the only channel you have.
