Account & sign-in
Getting into Stretus takes two things: an account you sign in with, and - during the current access phase - an invite code. This page walks through both so you land on the dashboard ready to build.
Signing in
Stretus uses Google OAuth for sign-in. There is no separate Stretus username or password to create or remember.
- Open the Stretus app at demo-app.stretus.com
- Click Sign in
- Choose the Google account you want to use
- Approve the permission prompt
Your session is created automatically. If your session expires, Stretus refreshes it in the background - you'll only be asked to sign in again if you've been away for a long time or you sign out explicitly.
Everything - strategies, chats, capital, subscriptions - is tied to the Google account you sign in with. Sign in with the same account every time to see the same portfolio.
Invite codes
While Stretus is in invited access, a valid invite code is required before you can use the app. If you land on the invite screen after signing in, enter the code you were given.

| Batch | A set of codes issued together, typically for a cohort or event |
If your code is rejected, it may already be used (single-use), expired, or mistyped. Check for extra spaces and re-enter it exactly as issued.
What you can do without a broker
You do not need to connect a broker or exchange to start. Immediately after signing in you can:
- Build strategies with the AI
- Run backtests on real historical data
- Deploy and run strategies in paper mode
A broker or exchange connection is only required for live trading with real capital.
